Small abjad values
Next to each value are the words of the Quran with that abjad value. "Agreed on" lists the words with that value in both the Eastern and Western systems, and "Just Eastern" and "Just Western" the words with it in only one.
Two spellings count as one word when they have the same letters and the same lemma (base form), in the Quranic Arabic Corpus. A lemma is the masculine singular for a noun or adjective, and the past-tense "he" form for a verb. So a word appears once whatever its case ending, its other harakat, or a shaddah from the word before it, and so do a verb's active and passive forms, and its past and command forms where they share letters. Words spelled alike with different lemmas, like "min" and "man", are listed separately when their usual spellings differ. Prefixes and suffixes remain part of a word, and the vocative ya and the ha of ha antum are joined to the next word, as in the corpus. Each word appears in its most common spelling, without its last harakah.
